Collectors Circle A Night at the Carlyle

Eric Comstock, an best-selling champion of the Great American Songbook, is a meridian performer of popular music today. Stephen Holden of the New York Times considers him the "truest heir to the much missed Bobby Brusque: a dispenser of cabaret caviar." Eric'due south appearances include Carnegie Hall, Ross Hall, Featherbrained's Lodge, Alice Tully Hall, and Birdland. Celebrating its 25th Anniversary in 2020, the MFA Collectors Circle has generously worked to raise funds for significant acquisitions for the Museum of Fine Arts.  Gain for this event benefits the Museum of Fine Arts.

The Mission Argument of the Collectors Circle, a back up group of the MFA since 1995, is to purchase for and/or preserve/ restore artwork in the MFA Collection for the enjoyment of museum members and the public. The Collectors Circumvolve brings together collectors, not-collectors, museum benefactors, and art aficionados for fascinating programs and study trips which range from fundraising events, study trips, and lectures. Over the past 25 years the Collectors Circle has gifted 41 works of art from a range of time periods, styles, and media to the museum. Amid our most spectacular gifts are Kehinde Wiley's Leviathan Zodiac (The World Stage: Israel), 2011 which marked our 25th Anniversary, and Childe Hassam'due south The Home Sweet Habitation Cottage East Hampton, Long Island, which marked our 10th ceremony celebration.
